Game Developer (C++, C#, Java, or HLSL)
Positon Summary: Do you love to make games? Novaleaf is seeking highly skilled developers (intermediate or senior). If you want to write games or develop graphics/animation using next-gen concepts and cutting-edge technologies, come join our team! Experience in the games industry is not required, but being a "world class" developer is!
Responsibilities Include:
- Write games for the Xbox360 and PC.
- Become an expert on a topic of your choice (graphics, AI, etc)
- Work on a team with experts from across the world: here in Bangkok
- Self manage yourself (setting your own deadlines)
- Research new products and technologies
- Working hard: we target AAA quality!
Qualifications:
- Good English ability, verbal and written (English is the primary language at the office)
- Excellent programming skills (better than your peers)
- In the interview, you will be required to write algorithms on a whiteboard such as:
- String reversal (Ex: write an algorithm that will convert "Hello, World!" to "olleH, dlroW!")
- Search algorithms (Ex: write a method that returns all instances of "hello" from a string array)
- Other, harder algorithms
- Proven skills at "complex systems", simulations or games are a plus, but anything where you demonstrate the ability to work on a team and create complex, functional systems in any language (C++, C#, Java, etc)
- A passion for research. If you have never heard of the "Game Programming Gems" books do not apply.
- Multicore programming experience is a plus.
